Suzume Iwato, a high school girl, meets Souta Munakata, who is searching for abandoned places. She leads him to a ruin and discovers a mysterious door to another universe. Accidentally releasing a keystone, she unleashes evil forces. To fix her mistake, Suzume teams up with Souta to lock all the doors and save Japan from destruction.
